I've found some really useful scripts/activex that zip a selection of files to be downloaded. They all require a dll registration, which is fine when u control the iis server, but not good when wanting to use them online with your web hosting company.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can get hold of a script/activex that I can use on my website that will zips files.

Maybe you could find an EXE instead of a ActiveX/COM DLL. Then maybe run it using the wscript.shell object?

That's a good suggestion I think. Doesn't complicate things with hosted environments.

ZipGenuis allows command line invocation, thus could be used from Run or Exec methods of a wscript.shell object.
