Hi,

I am trying to import some Zip files (aprox. 35 Zip files) into 7 to 10 standards tables in MS Access. But couple of zip files are so huge that they cannot be handled in MS EXCEL after extraction. So I think I have to link the data into the tables, which is the only option I have I think. But I don't know how do I perform a link to the existing tables of my database with these 35 tables. Please advise.

Thanks,
Dewan

1) Your zipped files, what type of files are they? dbase, clipper, ASCII ect.
2) Do you just want to view them, or append (add the records) to your existing access tables?

zip files are CSV files but when i attempet to extract them it goes to MS Excel files without giving me any option to get to import them as ascii files in Access tables. I would like to append them in access tables. Please help me out with your detail suggestions.

Thanks,
Dewan

i wont worry about it i think that the files are still in ascii csv format windows is just display it with a excell icon
