HI,
Regarding Informix RDBMS:
Online 5.x, 7.1x, 7.2x and 7.3x
A BYTE Collumn must be used (BLOB DATA TYPE)
The Binary Object (ZIP FIle) could be inserted by a ESQL-C Program
