We are having a problem when using SAP with IE6 in that any large zip files downloaded from SAP are corrupted. This seems to be due to SAP trying to compress, the already compressed files.

This does not occur in Firefox which leads us to suspect that this is due to GZIP compression. As we are running it on AIX. Turning off compression is not an option.

We cannot upgrade to IE7 as SAP does not support the administration tasks in IE7. In our company 99% of users use IE6 so we cannot suggest Firefox as an option.

has anyone else come across this and can they offer a suggestion.

Thanks in advance
Andy
