I am working on an Emachine (I am not familiar with them)
Windows 98 and networked to another Emachine
I have a new external Iomega Zip (USB)
I Installed the software and it recognizes it (drive D)
and works. Then I did the same on the other machine
It does not recognize it. I checked the device manager
I have an exclamation point under SCSI Controllers:
Iomega parrell port zip interface.
I went into the bios to check and see if I could enable
USB ports. I looked at the Emachine bios and
Lets just say I am not familiar with it. Is a bios change what
I need to do? How? Anything else I could try?

Thanks for any help you could give.

Some basic questions:
Is there any other USB device on the problem machine and does it work? Are both versions of Win98 the same, original or Second Edition? Is the Zip drive using USB 1.1 or USB 2.0?
