Hi, I recently installed an Iomega zip drive on an NT4 workstation (SP6a). The install went fine, but stopped the modem (USR Winmodem internal) in the middle of a connection. When I rebooted the modem was gone, and the RAS service would not start. I subsequently removed the Iomega software and disconnected the drive, but still no joy. I initially installed the zip disk to backup information on the box, now it can't connect via dial-up. The event logs don't say jack. I think that it may be related to a memory address or IRQ conflict. Can anyone offer any guidance on this problem please? Any help appreciated.

go the the control panel modem option see if you can change its com port after installed its software, is that a PCI card ?

The modem is 3com/USR winmodem (Sportster internal).
When i open the modem properties, the modem is not visible.
When i go to add new modem, it won't open the wizard.
I dont not if it is a device or a service that is disabled or stopped or what.
