Is there some ready to use table of the zipcodes with names of the cities?

or maybe something “ready to use”, to calculate distance between zipcodes? But I prefer to write something by myself.

This data changes every year or so you would need to have a way to keep it updated. Personally, I would investigate the USPS website and/or a mapping website like maps.yahoo.com.
