Hi there,
Does anyone know how to zip up a directory but not the contents of the symbolic links folder in that directory.

Is this doable? I checked the man page without much luck.....

This was in the man page for [tt]zip[/tt]. It sounds like what you're looking for...
Code:
-y Store symbolic links as such in the zip archive,
instead of compressing and storing the file referred to
     by the link (UNIX only).
