Hi,
I have problem. When I run install OfficeXP by ZfD (MSI/MST files) MSI show error 1624 (Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.)
Can you help me?
Server: Novell NetWare 6 SP3
App: ZfD 4.01
workstation: Windows XP SP1

Double check that within your Application Object, under the MSI-Transforms tab, that the path is correct first. Also, is the object associated to the workstation or the user? You will have to make certain that which ever object it is associated to has rights to read the transforms file.

I have ZENworks for Desktop Service Pack 1 and latest NAL client.
Object is associated to USER and USER is ADMINISTRATOR.
I use path:
\\name_server\volume\folder\file.msi
\\name_server\volume\folder\file.mst
I try too this:
\\ip_server\volume\folder\file.msi
\\ip_server\volume\folder\file.mst
or this:
\\name_server\volume\folder\file.msi
file.mst

AND nothing works.

I think, problem is in use WISE for transform MSI to MST. I try use command for this:
MSIEXEC /i \\name_server\volume\folder\file.msi TRANSFORMS=\\name_server\volume\folder\file.mst

AND error is same.(error in transform path).
Iam sory for my bad english:) I know it a little.

I've run into this before.

Use a mapped drive, not UNC and it should work for you.

Can you run the Office MSI manually from the machine getting the error?

Thank you for your advice. I try it.
For ZenCzar: Yes, MSI is working (run manually).
Now i use Microsoft Custom Installation Wizard for create MST file and it is ok (working).

Thank you
