Hello folks
We are going to upgrade from zfd 3.2 to zfd 7 in a couple of months. Does zfd 7 support the linux boot partition on the clients as 3.2 did, or does the imaging work in a whole new way ?

/D

Yes, ZfD7 still supports that

However, you should really look into PXE. It was a seperate purchase in 3.2, but Novell included it in 4 as well as 6, 6.5 & now 7. So you'll have PXE services at your finger tips.

What will PXE do for you? well, it will let you do the imaging you like to do with out dorking with the PC and setting up the Linux partition. Just make the system boot from LAN (most new system support this), and there you go.
