We replaced our Nortel 61c with Cisco VoIP and Unity. On Nortel, if a caller zeros out of a voice mailbox that is configured to revert to another extension, and the second person doesn't answer, the caller is presented with the first voice mailbox. Is there a way I can duplicate this in Unity? Its what the users expect since that is what they're used to.
Thanks in advance.
Steve

You can try a supervised transfer instead of a release out of Unity and see what happens. That way if the second caller does not answer it will pull the call back to the original mailbox.

Be aware that it will use two vm ports for each dial 0 a caller presses until the call is released.

If I had to guess I'say that is how you did in on the NORTEL also.
