Hello! This is an AWESOME resource!
I'm a new LAN Admin who has had very little experience with Option 11 phone system. I'm just learning all about our system. This forum has helped me do some things that our company would've paid a fortune to do if we called in an outsider. Anyway, here's my question:
One of our managers (John) has a secretaty (Jane). When John's out of the office, he sets his Meridian Voicemail so that the zero-out option will forward the call to Jane.
When the call is from the outside, her display shows something like "83-02", which I assume is a trunk line. When the call is internal, the name & extension of the caller shows up.
Jane has asked me if it is possible for her display to show *John's* extension (or some other indication that the call is a forwarded/zeroed-out call) on her M2616 display when someone has zeroed-out from his voice mail.
Is this possible? If so, is it easy to set up? If so, can someone please walk me through this step-by-step?
Thank you so much!
