At one of our customer sites, they report that there's an issue when a caller uses the zero out option, the call tranfers to the zero out extension, rings twice and when the call is answered, the call is dropped or if not answered before the second ring, the call drops. If anyone has an idea as to why this is hapenning, please comment and Thanks In Advance.

What type of voice messaging system are you using?

They have an Octel 200VMX. And we have more than a few setups like this that we support.

Sorry, dun no nuttin bout Octel. If you can't get an answere here, try the Definity forum. You will probably find more gurus on the Octel there.

In the Octel ...each user can have a zero destination
or will follow the system if not told to otherwise

can you dial the zero destination from your phone and see if the same issue happens ...print out extension info on the zero extension .....is it a cover to the operator ,
is it forwarded to something else ??
