Have a two MAS system that when calls hit MAS1 you hear a single ring then "that extension doesn't answer, press 1 to dial another number or press 3 for assistance". If the call hits MAS2 you hear it ring 5 times than the same message "that extension doesn't answer..."

What would cause it to ring once on MAS1 and ring 5 times on MAS2?

That may depend on the integration method you are using or what the MAS gets back from the attempted call. If MAS1 gets a response right away (like blocked or something) but the MAS2 gets a different response or a delayed response that may be why.

Are you sure it is transferring to the same location ?
It can also be the trunk group you have going to mas1 that is wrong.

Or the port group settings between the 2
