Zenworks imaging speed slow, what can i try next?

Hi
I have a lab of intel 100 pro ve cards, and the machines have sata drives in them. When I try to image them with Zenworks 7 SP1, the speed is extremely slow. ~30Gig@72 minutes (Ghost on same Lan takes 40 minutes)
same slowness with the "hdparm -d1 /dev/sda" switch

n.b. the client initializes at 100/fd. The switches are set to Auto Neg.
