Hey everyone

Our company has been using Trend Micro's Internet Security for about 6 months now on about 75 of our computers. We also have been implementing Novell's Zenworks 4.0 into our companies network. It seems that Internet Security and Zenworks do not get along. If they are installed on the same machine we are then not able to log into the network (Novell Login). We receive the error message "The error code was 8809", and it will not map any of the Novell network drives. We are running in a mixed enviroment of Window 98/2000 workstations, but it doens't seem to be OS specific. I've tried disabling the trend micro firewall, enabling the firewall, edited the firewall profile adding in the UDP and opening port 427 for Novell, nothing seems to help.

Any ideas???

Thanks

The 8000 errors in netware are TCP errors IIRC. You probably need to open port 524/tcp for the NCP protocol. This will allow the client to map drives, authenticate etc. Also you need to open up the port for SLP, and depending on how you're set up, DHCP & multicast.
If there is a logfile fro Trend, look at your dropped packets from when you're trying to log in and go from there.
