Hello All,

Don't know if this would go here but have a question on BGInfo and Where netware stores the current logged in user.

I am going to try to implement BGInfo and almost have it working. The only problem is that I need to know where Netware stores the current logged in user in the registry.

This way I can pull this and put it on the system and in my log file. Does anyone know where this information is stored when logging in on either a Win98 or 2000/XP machine. I thought I had the right one but I do not.

Once I have this I can then install it to the HS and Middle School. I know Novell can do the same thing, but this is kind of a backup you know backup buckup twice well this is the 3rd. Can never be to concerned about who logs in where.

Don't worry about the registry.. Use environment variables..

Go into BGINFO, in the fields screen -- Select CUSTOM, then NEW, then Environment Variable.. Click the path button to browse and it should have NWUSERNAME in the list. Use that.

If NWUSERNAME is not there (it should be), you could use the login scripts to set the variable.
