We are currently upgrading ZFD 2.0 to ZFD 3.0.
Before I migrate the data, I would like to install the Novell Client 3.3 Support Pack 3 to all the workstations using ZEN.
Everyone is on 3.3 (no support pack) right now.
I created an application object of the support pack using Snappshot/Nwadmin, and set it to force run upon login.
I prefer to not reboot and for the changes to take effect the next day when everyone restarts their workstation in the morning, so I set "never reboot" in application properties.
When I tested this, it would cause the workstation to hang (naldesk.exe and explorer.exe not responding). I have to do a cold reboot, and once the workstation is back up, it shows the support pack was installed. Has anyone distributed a support pack via ZFD before? Any ideas on why the workstation hangs so much?
