Zebra stripe Printer

Has anybody ever configure a zebra s600 label printer to work with the AS400? The printer does use a HP external printer server box. The 400 does see the device but nothing is coming out. HP or Zebra don't support AS400 does anybody have ideas?

Forget it does not work HP external print servers incompatiable with AS400

We have several Zebras working connected with HP Jetdirect 500x's via our network to the AS/400. I didn't set them up, so can't help there, but it is indeed possible.

I was challenged with this task and set out to find some information from someone else who had already done this. Come to find out plenty of people are looking for this information and no one had posted a solution.
I have a Zebra S600 connected to our network with an external HP Jetdirect 300X. The secret to making it work is in the setup of the remote output queue. Here is the command I used to setup the output queue:

CRTOUTQ OUTQ(QUSRSYS/WRISTBAND)
RMTSYS(*INTNETADR)
RMTPRTQ(RAW)
AUTOSTRWTR(1)
CNNTYPE(*IP)
DESTTYPE(*OTHER)
MFRTYPMDL(*WSCST)
WSCST(QWPDEFAULT)
INTNETADR('XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX')
SEPPAGE(*NO)
TEXT('Zebra S600 Wristband Printer')

After that I sent a formatted data stream to the output queue using query/400 and it printed fine.
