Hi!

I'm new to ZPLII programming (ie - haven't a clue) and I'm experiencing a rather frustrating problem which is something of a showstopper for the company.

We've developed some really smart logistics software, which prints carrier labels with barcodes on Zebra's GK420d printer. Problem is that the printers are usually used in Tear Off mode on the printer driver, but once the first label is printer, the printer feedback function pulls the label into the printer too far, and the feeder roller can not grab the paper again to start the next label print. I've tried to disable the label feedback option, but this results in the print job beginning too late, and cutting off some vital print. Can i send some sort of ZPLII command to the printer to adjust the %feedback, and if so, can this be sent as single increments of percentage, or can I only adjust 10% of label length (as a feedback option) at a time?
used to use LP2844 printers which did not make use of this feedback option.

Ideally, I would like to be able to start printing the first bit of the label without any need for label feedback, but perhaps I'm being idyllistic here!

We've sent the enquiry to Zebra Technologies, but I haven't the patience to sit and wait for a reply.

Any advice will be much much much appreciated!!

Kind Regards,
