I have a Flash movie of just some pics being shown and faded to the next image. The problem that I have is that the Flash movie is at the Top of the Z-order of my page meaning it appears above everything else especially javascript effects. I have a drop-down menu made in javascript and if one of the dropdowns collides with the Flash movie the dropdown is painted behind my Movie making the menu unusuable.

What I want to know is, is there a param tag that can be called or some other attribute that can be set so I can tell the Flash movie to be at the lowest z-order so it doesn't conflict with my menu, right now I have to keep them separate. Even when I tried to absolutely position a picture over the flash movie the Flash trumped my pic and was painted over my pic even though I had set the z-order of the pic to the highest(255). I didn't make the movie so I can only work with the Object, param , and embed tags in HTML but maybe someone can tell me if there is a way to set it so it doesn't get rendered on top of everything on my page.???

Read up on the first item in this list:
Note that this mode works in IE only!
You can try to play with the divisions, trying to put the Flash division under the javascript one... But it might not work! Flash uses Directx to embed the movie, and this makes the movie allways appear on top of anything else!
Guess there's no workaround but designing both so that they don't overlap. It still wouldn't work with NS!

I have the same problem. I have a javascript menu that will get cut off when it tries to go over my flash movie. I really would like to make my swf movie go below my javascript menu but couldn't. I tried to use layers, but it didn't help. Can someone tell me a fix for this? I really need to know soon.
