Your correct, this error is from the time daemon.
If your're not using a time server to sync the time, simply stop the time daemon /etc/init.d/xntpd stop and rename /etc/inet/ntp.conf (renaming ntp.conf will stop the time daemon from starting). However, if your're trying to configure a time server or client, need more details; is this error comming from the server or client? what version of Solaris are you running.
