After sucessfully installing Your Assistant Lite, I get the error message, "An error occurred on start up. Please contact your system administrator". Then I show the details of the message and it says, "Booting MiTAI Telephony Service failed
System.ApplicationException: SXERR_MTAI_ENVIRONMENT_ABSENT: Failed to initialize MiTAI. Ensure that MiTAI is installed.
at NewHeights.Telephony.TelephonyService.Initialize()
at NewHeights.BootStrapper.BootManager.Boot(ArrayList entries, BootableType bootableType, ArrayList& bootables)
Services successfully booted:
Action List
Idle Service
Store
MSN Messenger
PIM Framework - PIM Source Manager Service
PIM Settings Panel Service

Does anyone have a solution to this. Thanks in advance for any help.

Since you didn't mention your switch, here is both answers:

3300 - Ensure MiTAI/HCI is enabled.
200 ICP - Ensure you have a MiTAI port setup in your data ports form.

Sorry, I failed to mention that it was 3300. Please bear with me. I'm new at this: How do I ensure that MiTAI/HCI is enabled?
Thanks!

System Configuration
->System Configuration
-->System Capacity
--->License and Option Section

5th option from the bottom: "Mitai/Tapi Computer Integration.

You will also need to enable the same feature within the extension's Class of service.

Unsure how this takes effect in latest releases, but in early release 5 loads I recall there was some jumping through hoops requirement you either had to reboot the 3300 after enabling it or else blank out all the options, reboot, then re-enter them from scratch, but this time remembering to enable Mitai and rebooting once more. I could have this wrong tho as I only had to do it on a couple machines and it was some time ago.
