Your assistant responds very slow

HI, I've done an extensive search on this forum and through google but haven't come up with a solution, or a cause of the following problem.

certain users of the application Your Assistant (3.2.0.71) are experiencing very slow response times of the application. Taking calls, hanging up, the whole applications slows down. Calls are broken off by callers because they think nobody is awnsering.

We've done a tcp dump to look if the problem was with our network. And found out the client and controller are communicating but the actual call comes through after about 10 seconds. Somehow the call just waits to come throught.

Does anyone know a solution or possible cause.
 
Those symptoms sound as though it's a PC issue...
Is it EVERY client or just some?
What other programs are running simultaneously on the PC?
 
All the users on a certain controller are affected. the other three controllers are ok (users).
 
Sounds like you have some network congestion either between the 3300 and the YA Server or the YA Server and the clients or both.
 
put a little 4 port hub and a pc between each of the devices (on each side) and run wireshark/ethereal then. That would give you a better idea of whether its your pc or the network
