Hi,

Is there any format one needs to adhere to when entering contact numbers into your contacts and integrating outlook as a PIM into YA.

Am having trouble with certain contacts that do not dial and others dial but the numbers look the same.

Thanks

Chech the following;

1/. There is an entry in the Country Code
2/. There is an entry in the Area Code

It makes a difference

Excuse my ignorance but where do I find country and area code?

Thanks

Check in the Control Panel of Windows the Phone and Modem settings. Check your Country Code, Area Code and digits for dialing to an external number. These codes are essential when using PIM-integration.

Please note that YA is very 2 the point when it comes to a correct spelling of your phone number. Use a space, comma too much and it won't dial the number properly.

Good Luck!

In Outlook Contacts

Double Click on a telephone number field and you will get a second screen - on that there are fields for;

Country Code
Area Code
Telephone Number
Extension

If you don't fill in the first three fields YA won't work correctly.

Regards
