A Business Objects Full Client report developer has created a report and saved onto local disk. It was never exported to repository.

The same user tries to open the report after 10 months and it gives the error 'You are not authorised to use this document (FMR0008).

I have asked him to log on to Business Objects and open the document. It doesn't work.

Any inputs pls..

May be you are trying to open the document using different Bomain key file. To aviod this kind of issue, while saving save the document for all users.

File - save as - check save for all user check box

I think if a Supervisor user tries to open the report then it might open and then you can export to repository or do what nimmy99 has suggested.

You need to open the document with a general supervisor login and save for all users. then you can re-open with any user type
