So someone tried to set up folder redirection prior to me starting at my current position....I say try because it was a failure.
The permissions weren't set correctly at the root share, so it was kind of a hit/miss type of deal on the user folders below.
I have since set up the permissions on the folder, but I now have a curious scenario that I can't seem to figure out.
We have 2 citrix server, a server 2003 and a server 2008. We want some of the folders to be redirected for obvious reasons. However, the server 2003 machine does not redirect while the server 2008 works flawlessly. I tested this using my user account, which never logged on to citrix. Server 2003 will not redirect, server 2008 created a folder for me in the redirect location as expected and redirection takes place.
What is the difference between 2003 and 2008 that would allow one to work and the other to not? I have checked logs and I see nothing being logged about folder redirection.
Any suggestions?
