Hey guys,

I've been looking at the threads in this forum and elsewhere online that talk about the dreaded "File is damaged and cannot be repaired" error message, but I'm still having no luck correcting mine. Here's the situation:

We have an asp.net web app that takes input from teh user and creates an xml document. We save this document to disk where a java FOP app takes it and ans xsl-fo doc and transforms it, outputting a pdf. When the user tries to view it over the browser, *sometimes* we get the error "file is damaged blah blah blah". Here's whats weird: if we try and open the pdf that gave us the error on the server (i.e. directly with acrobat, no browser) it opens fine. It just seems to not want to display sometimes in the browser over the internet.

I've also downloaded Acrobat version 5.1.0, but I'm still getting the errors.

Any thoughts on what the problem could be?!
:(

Thanks,

jack
