Is it possible to set up a check box so once it is changed I can have a different field update with the current date and another field update with teh current time?

In addition, once this update takes place, is it possible to then make the fields that already have data populated once the check box is checked read only? so the user can no longer make updates to this?

Thanks in advance.

How are ya WHYDO4399 . . .

Curious this! [surprise] Although the origional fields can be locked (no editing), [blue]whats the point of the transfer to the alternate fields when the origionals can still be read?[/blue]

Special Note: for this to work, the [blue]checkbox[/blue] would have to be added to the underlying table!
