Yellow light?

Hi!

There are 3 lights beside the scsi-disc on our Proliant server, and the os is NT4 server. There are 2 disk who are mirrored. Now one have a yellow light. What does that means?

Amber light means drive failure. If the hardware is still under warranty, Compaq won't question you if you tell them a amber light is visible. You need to replace it before your mirrored drive fails or all data could be lost. Hope this helps.

indeed drive failure ;-) replace drive asap.

you could have been warned of this if you used compaq insight manager.....
