Guys..

Perhaps my quries makes silly.

we done yearend processing 2009 has been closed. 2010 created. we passed a GL-JV for 2009 like Dr expenses account Cr. bank.

we print the trail balance for 2009-12
but my retainedearning account for 2009 has not been netted or updated. but i can see the effects in exp account and my bank in the 2009-12 TB.

Why its not affect in 2009 TB(RetainedEarnings)?

Your comments are welcome.

Accpac has a different 'period' for closing entries. Periods 01 through 13 are used for accounting entries. Period 14 is for year-end adjustments. Period 15 is for year-end closing entries.

So if you print a trial balance at period 12 you will have values in your expense accounts. You can then print a trial for the CLS period (closing period or period 15) and you'll see that your expense accounts have a zero balance.

thank you very much DjangMan..

so for my case i have take a TB for 2009-CLS becuse we have been using upto 12 period.
