year end closing

Macola 7.5.105e, Pervasive

Attempted year end closing. When I go to GL, view , comparatives, the numbers are wrong.

There is a large (negative) value in for Beginning. Period 13 shows a correct (negative value) for Nov 08. (End of fiscal year is Oct 31).

All other periods are 0.

Can anyone tell me what I did wrong?

The end of year Closing did not work properly. I zeroed out the 2008 comparatives, changed the statement from PY to 2007 and everything worked out.
