YAPRO 3.0 error

Hi,

I have a problem with YAPRO 3.0.

I installed the server and client software last week and all was working brilliantly then yesterday the customer server was running slow so they rebooted it. Since then YA vlients can no longer run there software.

If i create a client profile with no DP or SP extension number the software will run but if i associate a DP or SP and YAPRO has to communicate with the Mitel 33000 i get and error say something like.

can not connect deskphone 0 or softphone 4619 with switch 10.3.0.2 do you want to work offline.

so this appears to me a problem between the YAPRO Server and the Mitel 3300. I have checked the firewall and all ports appear to be open from the server i can ping and web browse to the 3300.

Anyone got any ideas?

What recent changes have been made to your data[/] network configuration? The apparent slowdown could easily have been a network issue that the client only thought was server related.
 
It was something internally to the server a process issue, this site is very particular with there network constantly monitoring it and keeping every bit of software upto date and such like there is no lagging on the network at all. besides this would not cause me the problem i currently have.
 
I think I will reveal a small secret. Your YA server is actually not doing a hole lot. It's basic reason for existing is to be centralized management PC with basic setup for the clients. Once setup, your YA clients will actually work, EVEN IF THE YA SERVER GOES DOWN. At a certian point, you have to come back to the server, so the YA clients will actually crash if they don't find the server. You can go for some time before it crashes.

Can your ICP ping the YA server? What is the IP address of the the listed devices (ICP, YA client, YA server)?
