Yahoo won't load on firefox

I recently have been having problems loading my yahoo profile or yahoo.com on firefox 2 and 3. My yahoo profile shows up just fine using IE, but I don't want to use both browsers. I have tried uninstalling firefox 3 and installing 2, and I have tried re-installing firefox 3 again. I ran the SuperAnti-spyware free addition which helped me with another malware, but it did nothing here.

Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any advice as to what I could try. I would like to do this without spending a bunch of money on software, but I am at a point now where I'm worried about this virus upsetting my O.S., it has already effected my downloading speed.

also I recommend you download SpyBot S&D, SuperAntiSpyware, and run a full scan with both, fixing what they throw at you... then immunize with SpyBot...
