how can i install yahoo messenger in red hat linux 7.2.

how can i share directories in red hat linux. i am using linux for my server and win 98 in clients.

You will have to setup samba on the linux box to be able to share files between the to systems. A for the Yahoo thing, I'm not sure there is a linux version. There are a few linux version of AIM but some of the functions don't work, like file transfers. There is also a program called everybuddy that has ICQ, AIM, MSN and others all in one. You might give that a try. I don't know where to get it other than but I'm sure a few people here will let you know where to get the latest and greatest.

I've installed Yahoo Messenger on my Red Hat workstation in the past. You can get it from here -->
It runs on Red Hat, Mandrake, Debian, Suse, Solaris, and FreeBSD (and probably some others). YM is basically the same on both Linux and Windows platforms.
