Seems MS snuck in the ie 7 update which then upated ie 6 to 7, got past our update server somehow...
anyway, some users are getting errors when browsing with ie7, it seems to point to yietabbm.dll. I know this is Yahoos dll but I cant seem to find out how to resolve the error.
Anyone else having the same problem?
I am having them uninstall yahoo and se what happens, maybe a reload of yahoo will fix.

The users are xp pro, ie7, Yahoo IM.

A description of the error would be helpful...

doh...
its a generic 'Windows explorer has encountered an error and must close' error.
When I open the more info box, I see:
app name iexplore, ver 7.0.5730.11
Mod name: yietagbm.dll
Thats how I tracked down the yahoo connection.

This DLL appears to be used to create the Yahoo Messenger Bookmark icon in IE. You could always uninstall Yahoo Messenger then reinstall the latest version (if you need Yahoo Messenger) to see if this rectifies the issue?

Removed all yahoo, aim and msn stuff, error gone, even after reload of all.
Im convinced thats what it was.

Oh the reason I removed all:
I removed Yahoo, still same problem. It wasnt till i removed the other 2 that it went away. Go figure...
