yahoo i.m. not working properly, please help.

hi everyone.
i have yahoo i.m. and the microphone does not transmit any sound. the mic works in windows sound recorder, but yahoo, tests it, says it's ok, but it's not working. can anybody please help?

there should be an option i believe in I.M that allows you to turn on the mic. of not uninstall and reinstall will be the easiest way to fix it

hi cupid,
it didn't work. the mic is on. but after yahoo tests it and says it's ok, nothing is transmitted from my mic. then i tried to uninstall yahoo and re-install it. it still doesn't work. Please, i need help! :-(
