Interesting discovery, wonder if anyone else has seen this.
3300 Rls 8.08, non-resilient
YA 3.09 (free client)
4 different sets each having a multicall RING appearance of set number 1.
If any of the companion sets (where the key app is not prime) go down, YA Client for Set 1 goes down too. (Goes into offline mode actually) The set where the multicall is prime stays up.
Example,
DN 5000 is prime on a 5140 appliance
and is a multicall/ring appearance on
DN 5001 (a 5330),
DN 5002 (a 5224) and
DN 5003 (a 5235).
YA client is running & registered to DN 5000
If either sets 5001, 5002 or 5003 crash (loss of connectivity) the functionality of the YA client for DN 5000 is lost and a screen popup announces this fact even though DN 5000 is still up on his prime instrument.
