We're running AIX versions 4.1.5 and 4.2. My questions relates to Y2K compliance. I have a good feeling that
our boxes are ready for the upcoming millenium change, but wanted to solicit some opinions from anyone
who'd like to offer one. What patches, fixes, upgrades have you installed, downloaded etc. Has IBM been
providing you with specific contingency plans.....???

If you have a minute please respond and tell me what version of AIX you're using and what you've done to ensure
it's Y2K readiness.

Thanks in advance

We use 4.2 and I've been checking with aixy2k_fixcheckxx the last version I used was aixy2k_fixcheck25.

This is an IBM utility that checks the state of your machine against the list of IBM Y2K patches.
You can also call IBM up and ask them for a Y2K CD, which we did. They put all the APARS you need on one CD and you can install it (soon!)
