For every web page I go to I get this error: " is not set up to establish a connection on port world wide web service (HTTP) on this computer. I am connected to a LAN at this time, but the error also occurs on dial-up, which is what I use at home. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

User "Subversive" in the forum below was able to attribute this issue to conflicting software. Their Internet connectivity had previously worked, but they started getting this error after installing Kaspersky Anti-Virus. The problem wasn't Kaspersky though, but rather their computer came pre-installed with Norton Internet Security. After removing Norton, the problem went away. Other users experiencing the same problem were able to attribute this issue to the same root cause. Have you recently installed any anti-virus, firewall, or other security software on your machine? If so, check to make sure that there is not any security software that came pre-installed on your computer that is causing a conflict.
