I've just upgraded to Fedora Core 2 the night before and can't seem to get the nvidia drives install properly. FC2 uses xwindows from xorg instead of XFree. After installing the driver, starting X would lockup the system. Looking through the log I found these 3 entries:
(WW) NV(0): config file hsync range 30-70kHz not within DDC hsync ranges.
(WW) NV(0): config file vrefresh range 50-120Hz not within DDC vrefresh ranges.
(EE) Failed to initialize GLX extension (NVIDIA XFree86 driver not found)
I know the first 2 line doesn't really matter because these should the correct values as they had alwaysed work from the older xwindows systems. Can't really asay anything about the last one though. Has anybody got the same problem?
