Hi all,
I would like to connect to my host by using a Xwindow program to get consol screen on my Nt platform.Is there any suggestion which program would be better to do this.If you have any idea could you write me with web site name which can dowmload from.

Citrix MetaFrame for UNIX is the best platform for this - but if you're only going to run an Xterm it's probably overkill.

There's a product called Bridges by a company called Graphon that I've sucessfully set up on a Linux box, and I think that you can use tools like Hummingbird Exceed for this.

Both these products rely on X11, though, which is extremely bandwidth-hungry.

I ran into troubles with Exceed on NT 4.0 with a memory leak in the NFS routines. Reflections crashed constantly with my Win2K box.

I have had better luck with WinaXe from

not to mention it was cheaper then most others. It has been very stable and works on my 98 and 2000 boxes just fine.

Hi all thanks for all helps.
I have downloaded WinaXe ,it 's quite good but when i've try to connect to my host i couldn't and if i try to connect to my test machine (Unix 4.0f) there is no problem.I thought the problem is fireawall and i added a new rule as all ports are open from my computer to host but nothing happened.
Any idea?
