I installed XWALL at the suggestion of a couple people here to test it on 2 exchange servers on the same network.
SERVER A
exchange 5.5 sp 4 on windows 2000 sp1
SERVER B
exchange 5.5 sp 4 on windows NT4 sp6a
Server B works great. Server A however cannot send any mail outbound to anywhere. Here is the message that it gets:
04-03-04 11:57:33 0005: From: localuser@domain.com
04-03-04 11:57:33 0005: To: internetuser@anydomain.com

04-03-04 11:57:34 0005: Error: Name server reported that the domain does not exist [95]
>> The DNS server the machine uses works and can resolve any of the domains I try to send mail too both at the command line and in internet explorer for instance and it is the same DNS server that the other server is using!
What would cause this???
