Xvfb on Solaris 8 1

Hi, I'm quite new to Solaris, so excuse me if I mess up something.

Our developers have asked us to install Xsun on some servers for a web app that uses captchas.

The problem is that these servers are Solaris 8 and don't have a graphics adapter, so we cannot use Xsun.

The Sun guys have told us that we have two options: migrate to Sun 9 (not an option right now) or install Xvfb from X.org.

I've gone thru the X.org (

http://www.x.org)

web page, but I don't know what do I have to install, nor how to do it.

Has anyone done this installation? What are the steps I should follow? Is there a good how-to I could read?

If I remember right, gunzip did not come with Solaris 8. You can download this application gzip from

http://www.sunfreeware.com/

Now we have some problems with Xvfb on Solaris 9, but I will open a new thread.
