Hi, I've been asked to install XTI libraries for AIX, but I don't know what it is.

Searching a bit I think they're talking about X/Open Transport Interface, but it's the first time I hear about it.

Does anyone know what it is, and where to find it? Is it in the AIX installation CDs?

Thanks.

One google search shows this is the libxti.a library.
One IBM search for libxti.a shows 3 apars and this lib is in fileset bos.rte.streams. Since it is a bos fileset I think that it is on the AIX installation cd's.

When in doubt,,, Power out...

Thanks a lot, will try it and I will tell you.

Checked it and it was already installed by default.
The fileset is bos.rte.streams and the library needed /usr/lib/libxti.a

Thanks again.
