xterm disconnecting after period of time

I have a problem with a particular server running Solaris 8. When people connect via xterm (using Exceed) through VPN, the window will disappear or lock up after a little while of inactivity.

It doesn't happen on our other Solaris Servers. I have been testing all weekend....open xterms to multiple servers and only this one disappears.

Is there a setting, a different version of a patch, or other configuration I can check?

Freaky. Is there some kind of 'keepalive' option in the Exceed profiles that is enabled for the other servers and not this one?

Have you tried monitoring the connectivity to that server while the xterm is running using ping or WinMTR or similar?

It definitely isn't an Exceed config. I took a brand new laptop with a brand new install of Exceed and created two Xterm sessions identical. One to the server that keeps disconnecting and one to a server that didn't. I see the same results.

I haven't done any type of network monitoring at this point. I may try a snoop and see what I see. I was hoping there was a simple configuration on the server causing this.
