I just installed the scsi drive intto the power mac.
The mac has no problem seeing and initized the drive, however, I wanded to use this drive as the main booting & system drive. What is best & simplest way to do this?
By ghost or some program like that?

Thanks

In advance.

You should be able to copy the 'System Folder' over to the SCSI drive and under control panels, startup disk tell it that it is the boot disk. Then reboot. If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

You can do it, but it doesn't work as you need the desktop DB file which is hidden and locked.

Quickest way is to boot to CD, easy install to SCSI disk rename system folder on SCSI disk to old system folder, copy over system folder from IDE to SCSI, set startup disk to SCSI, reboot and rebuild desktop file.
