Xt Error

Hello Dear All

I have a machine running solaris 9 I wanted to use xterm put when I write on a terminal xterm it will give the error:
xterm xt error: can't open display hostname:0.0

if I used :
setenv DISPLAY hostname:0.1
it will give the error:
xhost: unable to open displat hostname:0.1

pls advise

How are you running this? Through a telnet session?

You need to have an X server running on 'hostname' for that to dowk.
