Silly question, I have a javascript function that I want to have applied to an <xsl:variable> before the resulting html page is created. Anyone know if that is possible???

I have always been able to hava javascript functions attached to the resulting html pages that the xslt generated but never before the doc is created

Almost certainly, the answer to your question is, "No, you can't do that."

Usually this kind of question indicates a need to rethink the problem you are really trying to solve. Are you applying the translation (XSLT) on the server side or the client side?

So, if you will, try to describe the problem you were trying to solve as you went down the path that led to this question. I'll bet there is another way.

yeah basically I'm trying to alter some elements in the already compiled xml file. So its a server side modification. basically I want to alter some data in the xml (which I have a javascript function for) then spit out the html file using xslt
