XSL-FO: Table too wide

I need a way to split a table that may be too wide for the page. I am trying to format the XML document for PDF output using Apache FOP 0.20. Is there an easy way to split a table so that if it is too wide, the table will be split on a column and continued on the next page? Or am I going to have to count columns and do a lot of manipulation?
